About Me

I’m William Cornell, a multimedia creative with an insatiable drive for storytelling and a deep love for the game of football. What began as an experimental video project in a University of Oregon editing lab turned into Rain City Redemption, a documentary series about the Seattle Seahawks that spanned six chapters, earned millions of views, and ultimately shaped the trajectory of my career.

Since graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in Digital Art and Computer Technology, I’ve worked across multiple levels of football - from college athletics to the UFL - producing video content, managing digital campaigns, and leading creative strategy for athletes, teams, and media brands.

I’ve served as the Senior Editor for Pete Carroll’s media company, built NIL campaigns with Ducks Rising, and currently capture gameday content for the United Football League, covering teams like the DC Defenders and Houston Roughnecks. My work has also brought me into projects with a handful of NFL athletes such as Dak Prescott, Riq Woolen, Jevon Holland, Penei Sewell (and more) helping shape player showcases, brand launches and event recaps through photo, film, and motion graphics.

Much of what I’ve accomplished has come from saying yes to opportunities outside my comfort zone, whether it's launching merch campaigns, creating custom team content, or producing highlight reels for pro hopefuls. I’m self taught, highly adaptable, and always looking for new ways to push creative boundaries.

At the heart of it all, my work is rooted in connection to the game, to the stories behind it, and to the people who make it special. This journey has not only opened doors, it’s taught me who I am. And I’m just getting started.

Creative Approach & Core Principles

My approach to leadership and creative execution has been shaped by formative experiences in football and by working alongside some of the most respected coaches in the sport. I was fortunate to learn directly from Pete Carroll, whose “Always Compete” philosophy left a lasting impact, and later worked alongside Super Bowl-winning coach Blake Williams of the DC Defenders, who emphasized a framework of accountability and performance. These experiences, combined with my journey as a content creator and team leader, have led me to build a personal code, grounded in consistency, curiosity, and commitment to excellence. This document outlines the core principles that shape my mindset and creative approach. It’s a reflection of the lessons I’ve learned, the people who’ve influenced me, and the values I carry into every project.
